Eng. Maiad Al-Jassim during the workshop
As part of the Qatar National Climate Dialogue organized by the Nature Conservators Centre (NCC) in collaboration with Earthna, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, from 7 to 8 October 2025, the interactive workshop “Small Actions, Big Impact” was launched and delivered by Eng. Maiad Al-Jassim, a specialist in sustainability and sustainable energy, with the participation of a group of environmentally conscious youth and students.
The event aimed to enhance environmental awareness among young people and inspire them to create practical environmental initiatives that contribute to addressing climate challenges, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
During the workshop, scientific concepts were combined with hands-on application through interactive activities and practical exercises, enabling participants to learn how small, passion-driven initiatives can create a tangible positive impact on protecting the environment.
