The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Terrestrial Protection Department, in cooperation with the Environmental Security Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), removed a number of camps that had been set up in terrestrial areas before the scheduled start of the 2026–2027 winter camping season.
The Committee for Regulating Winter Camping Affairs stressed the importance of adhering to the dates specified for the season and refraining from setting up any camps before the announced date. It affirmed that inspection campaigns and field monitoring will continue across various terrestrial areas and that the necessary measures will be taken against any violations detected.
