On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, a meeting was held at the UNESCO office in Doha between the Nature conservators Center—represented by Dr. Saif Al-Hajari and Dr. Khalil Al-Said—and the UNESCO Regional Office—represented by Dr. Mohamed Aloui and Gabriel El-Khili. The meeting focused on discussing avenues for cooperation between the two parties regarding the conservation of nature, water, and biodiversity through targeted joint programs in the State of Qatar and the Arabian Gulf region.
